A Gift of Food is an Answer to Prayer

Now, more than ever, people outside our ministry are suffering due to the rising cost of food. That's why PPMU "gleans" $200 (US) each month from its operational funds to meet the needs of six families in dire circumstances. This month's surprise food offering was literally an answer to prayer. After receiving food, Karen (who is an elder in her community) said, "It was an answered prayer for us to get food, these are hard economic times where food is scarce."

PPMU's Director of Ministries, Innocent Mucunguzi said, "This is what PPMU stands for, standing in the gap both short-term and long-term for families in need." Each family was so grateful to receive the unexpected food. Innocent went on to say, "It brings joy to my heart when delivering food relief and sharing the love of Christ and reminding these families that they are loved by God and not forgotten." You can see by the looks on their faces how appreciative they are.
