Innocent Visits New City Church in North Carolina, USA

This April, Innocent made the long journey from Kabale, Uganda to Charlotte, North Carolina. Ministry Board member, Pastor Travis Janousek invited Innocent to speak at New City Church to help raise awareness and support for PPMU. We’ve learned that the best way to fundraise is to bring Innocent to the people in person.

Innocent spoke at New City’s three church services where Pastor Chris Payne prayed for him and the children we serve. Innocent spent time with one of the ladies’ outreach groups, spoke for an hour at a church luncheon, and then finished his day with 10 new friends over dinner.

Innocent will travel to another church partner in Louisiana before heading back to Uganda on April 14. We thank God for allowing Innocent to be our greatest ministry advocate and champion. Please pray for Innocent's travel and for God to raise up new donors to partner with us as we serve our current student body of 164 children.
