Can you imagine having to jump over pools of water or trudge through thick mud every time you step out of your house, school, or workplace? And when your clothing is all washed by hand, Kids + Mud = Lots and lots of dirty clothes. That's the reality our students and staff face during the many rainy seasons in Kabale (December - March and July - August). The good news is rain makes for great farming, the bad news is it brings mud, mud, and more mud to the PPMU campus.

We want our kids to spend time on their studies, not on washing endless piles of muddy clothes! That's why we're happy to announce the launch of the Mud Madness Paver Project!

New culverts and drains were installed when we built our Perimeter Wall, so the campus is ready to address the mud. A recent gift from one of our church partners has allowed us to start work immediately. As you can see from the photos above and the video below, the children are so grateful, they wasted no time in helping our contractor unload the newly delivered pavers!

The importance of pavers goes beyond beautiful aesthetics. Helping our kids and staff maintain cleanliness and good hygiene ensures overall health for everyone, and healthy kids are happy kids!

We need to raise $8,000 (US) to complete the project. Would you help keep our kids healthy and happy by donating to this wonderful project? Click Here to make a tax-deductible donation today!
