This March, our school participated in a new sporting event organized by the Ugandan Ministry of Education. It included foot races, disc throwing, and jump rope competitions for all age groups. The purpose was to nurture talent among students. A total of 10 schools competed against one another.
With strong bodies and determined minds, two of our students won the 100-meter race. Our 14 and under group took second place overall which qualifies them for the subcounty competition in April. Special meals were enjoyed after the race.
As you can see, our students are as bright as their neon green uniforms! Healthy and happy kids returned to school in jubilation from the day’s events.
